The Eastern Mass. News Alliance brings together local news websites and businesses who once advertised in legacy papers. Businesses will reach more customers in the towns they’re targeting, while local news website will realize the income they need to thrive and serve the public.

1. Connecting the growing number of local news website readers with businesses looking for customers who are interested and engaged with their town and others in their area. More than a dozen independent news websites have formed an advertising collaborative while maintaining their editorial independence and hyperlocal news coverage.
2. Changing or circumventing an outdated state law that requires cities and towns to post paid legal notices in a “newspaper of general circulation.” Read more here.
